Hi, I’m Marianne!
I am a clinical aromatherapist and certified holistic practitioner located in Hamilton, Ontario.
I have a passion for helping others during times of discomfort while using nature to care for physical or spiritual ailments
After my mother’s devastating cancer journey, I discovered the power of aromatherapy and how supportive it can be. I was so interested in how nature can be used to bring a sense of comfort and calmness to any experience.
From there, I started to delve into the world of essential oil education. In 2002, I acquired my clinical certification in aromatherapy, while working in various clinical environments. I was educated from great and inspiring teachers such as with inspiring teachers such as Eve Taylor, Trish Green, Dr. D. Penoel, Dr. Jane Buckle and Dr. Sat Dharam Kaur. I also trained in different hospitals around the world, from New Jersey to France, before beginning to start my own aromatherapy business- Aromacare!
Building a company from the ground up came with years of study and research, but the passion made education and work feel natural. Since 2004, Aromacare has been a service to support the well-being, emotional and physical health of others.
The crises of the cancer journey became a blessing to share with the world. Now I am overjoyed to share nature’s gift to everyone, comforting and educating as many people in their time of need!
Aromatherapy is a wonderful tool to ease different kinds of ailments such as; easing muscle aches and pains, while also relieving the discomforts of many health problems such as, PMS, menopausal issues, anxiety, sleep difficulties, IBS, and constipation.
Many of the oils also have powerful antibacterial and antiviral qualities that are great for reducing cold and flu symptoms.
Aromatherapy acts on the central nervous system, as it affects the heart rate and blood pressure of the user. Some of the many benefits include relieving depression and anxiety, reducing stress, relaxing, uplifting, sedating or stimulating, while restoring both physical and emotional well-being.
It brings communication with the transcendent.
It purifies mind and body.
It removes uncleanliness.
It keeps you alert.
It can be a companion in the midst of solitude.
In the midst of busy affairs, it brings a moment of peace.
When it is plentiful, one never tires of it.
When there is little, still one is satisfied.
Age does not change its efficacy.
Used every day, it does no harm.
